After retiring from General Motors and working in the Social Work field for many years as a Therapist, I have gained an inner awareness for dealing with everyday stressors. With my training I have developed common sense strategies to help people deal with their problems, and have a happier and more fulfilling life.

I am retired from Clinical Social Work. I worked in substance abuse and in Mental Health before I retired. Social Work is all about empowering the Client, and that is always the best approach.
Many times, people just need someone to bounce ideas off of, or someone to offer some insights into their decision making. This is when a close friend can be a useful tool. Sometimes we don’t have a close friend to help us when we need it. Sometimes we just want help or guidance from a third party who we are not emotionally invested in. This is what I am offering you.
You will get help and guidance with any issue or problem, without worrying about or feeling judged. Having a label or diagnosis put on you. Feeling like you have something wrong with you or that you are abnormal is some way. This is freedom from being put into the system, which sometimes causes people to feel like they are trapped in that system. Freedom to have more independence in all of your choices.
